It is not supposed to be at this extreme. Generally, you’d meet a stranger, become acquaintances, develop a casual friendship, grow closer, and become intimate. Being intimate here doesn’t mean sex but an emotional connection. This greyscale would have different personal boundaries for all individuals. Yours would be different from mine. But I love how simple and stupid it is to be friends or strangers. If we had not met or talked to each other for some time, we might have changed and become strangers again. And we could become friends again, too.
