So, I’ve been thinking. A lot. Like, really thinking. Do you know those moments when you look down at the phone screen at 3 pm and suddenly wrestle with the big questions? Yeah, those. These are the ones that mostly come these days after scrolling through things on the internet (It’s not always on the internet. That’s just the space around where I get mine).

I hear people often call it an “existential crisis”. Sounds dramatic. Scary, even. People really don’t want to go through it. But what if we flipped that around? What if, instead of a crisis, we saw it as… an opportunity?

Mini existential betterments for a better life. Because isn’t that what it really is? A moment where we’re forced to stop, ask, “Okay, what is this all about?” and take action to make more meaning about things in our lives. Anyways, it’s not always some grand, sweeping transformation. Sometimes, it’s the small steps we take to come out of a crisis victorious.

So why not rewrite the narrative and the stories we tell ourselves. And be more grateful to ourselves when we are going through a moment. We are growing – it gets messy, uncertain and vulnerable – but we discover new strengths and the courage to embrace change through it all.

Many mini ones over a single big one.
